About 2 years ago, I met a young mom who was suffering. She had constant itching all over her body, she felt horrible with eating and drinking items that had never bothered her before. Her focus at work was impacted by her insomnia and she just knew something was off. It seemed everything was affected.

Could your health complaints be mold related? At Victress, we’ve witnessed underlying mold toxicity (or mycotoxins) displaying a wide variety of common symptoms such as nasal congestion, itchy or watery eyes, sinusitis, asthma attacks, and recurrent respiratory infections (i.e. bronchitis). We see fatigue, aches and joint pains, muscle cramps, headaches, blurred vision, shortness of breath, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and loss of focus/concentration as symptoms of mold toxicity as well.

The first step in feeling better and taking back your life is finding the root cause. Testing the environment is very important, but exploring the body with an open mind is key to really finding the right process for healing for you. Mold symptoms may be misdiagnosed as allergies, fibromyalgia, various sinus and respiratory illnesses. Even if the environmental mold situation has been addressed or you are in a new environment, there can be a significant mold overgrowth in your body for years. Discovery, environmental treatment and internal treatment of the body are extremely important.

As I mentioned, we’ve worked with several clients who have had underlying mold toxicity. One client found a significant mold problem in her home and needed mold remediation of the entire house. After using the appropriate techniques to remove the environmental mold, treat the internal body mold, and continue to maintain a mold-free home: she and her children are breathing much easier and have little to no symptoms.

Another client just could not figure out why she was so fatigued, had some sinus issues and had brain fog that affected her at home and at work. After the environment and symptom history were discussed with the client, I suspected mold as a culprit to her symptoms. She discovered that in fact the mold spores in her home were at an elevated level and we were able to work through an appropriate external and internal treatment.
